La registrazione è stata fatta con il seguente setup:

Chitarra: Guild Bluesbird;
Multieffetto: Line6 Pod XT Live;
Microfono: Behringer B5;
Preamp: DBX 286A;
Scheda audio: Edirol UR-80;
Software DAW: Sonar 6.2.1 Producer edition.

Per ogni amplificatore sono stati registrate 4 clip con le seguenti caratteristiche:

Rithm: Humbucking al manico e riverbero (spring) del Pod;
Arpeggio: come sopra;
Crunch: Humbucking al manico, Tube Screamer e riverbero (spring) del Pod;
Lead: Humbucking al ponte, Preamp Marshall JMT (senza cabinet) e riverbero (spring) del Pod;

Il setup è lo stesso per tutti gli ampli e le registrazioni non sono state trattate con effetti in post produzione per dare modo di sentire le differenze tra le varie sonorità ottenute.

Small tube amps

All recordings have been made with following setup:

Guitar: Guild Bluesbird;
Floor board: Line6 Pod XT Live;
Mic: Behringer B5;
Preamp: DBX 286A;
Audio interface: Edirol UR-80;
Software DAW: Sonar 6.2.1 Producer edition.

For each amp, 4 clips have been recorded as described below:

Rithm: neck Humbucking and Pod's reverb (spring);
Arpeggio: same as above;
Crunch: neck Humbucking, Tube Screamer and reverb (spring) from Pod;
Lead: bridge Humbucking, Marshall JTM Preamp (no cabinet) and reverb (spring) from Pod;

The recording setup is the same for all amps and no effect have been applied with the DAW to allow understanding of the sound differences as they can be obtained from the amps.
